ABIGAIL
STAHLSCHMIDT
Abigail Stahlschmidt is an internationally-recognized acoustic and electric violinist, composer, singer, and professional model. Her musical experiences and creative ability have taken her across many genres from classical to pop to metal and have allowed her to tour as a performer throughout the world.
Abigail began classical training at the age of 4. She attended the University of Missouri- St. Louis on a full-ride musical and academic scholarship at the age of 15 where she studied under Julliard-trained professor John McGrosso and his colleagues of the Arianna String Quartet.
Her musical collaborations include recording with notable guitarist Christopher Caffrey's “Your Heaven is Real” (guitarist for Savatage; Trans-Siberian Orchestra), and her own EP collaboration with Eric Strothers entitled “ The Merge: Subliminal Intent.” Abigail's music has been featured on the soundtracks of full feature film "Four Color Eulogy", Her symphonic Christmas music was featured in PBS.
As a composer and recording artist Abigail is currently working with Hans Zimmer’s top arranger, Carl Rydland and will be recording many of her original scores with members of the Nashville Symphony this season.
When not in concert Abigail is available to perform for private and corporate events.
